Ceramic Fibre Paper - 3 mm Thermal and electrical insulation
Paper Size: 3 mm x 500 mm x 1 - 20 m
Our Superwool® fibre papers are specially processed to offer excellent performance in high-temperature applications.
These products are an excellent alternative to alternative to traditional solutions due to its unique properties of high refractoriness and excellent non-wetting characteristics. These characteristics make this product the right choice for applications requiring direct contact with molten aluminium and stability and resistance to chemical attack.
Our Superwool® fibre papers are uniquely designed from patented Superwool® fibre bulk and organic binders in a unique paper making process and provide stability and resistance to chemical attack. Exceptions include hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid and strong alkalies (i.e. NaOH, KOH). Our Superwool® fibre papers are unaffected by incidental spills of oil or water and their thermal and physical properties are restored after drying.
This product range features low bio-persistence, excellent tensile strengths, high insulating values at high temperatures, they are immune to thermal shock and have and outstanding handling characteristics. They can be die-cut and will conform easily to complex shapes. Our Superwool® fibre Flex-Wrap uses a unique paper making process which uses a blend of Superwool® high purity fibres and organic binders.
The main benefit of this is that off-gassing is at a minimum due to its low organic binder content. This speciality paper is noted for its excellent flexibility, outstanding handling characteristics, and high insulating value at high temperatures.
