Installing the FrameFit Threshold Seal

Application method: FRAMEFIT THRESHOLD SEAL (FFTS)

Location: On floor centred on door frame jambs

Supplied in 1000mm lengths

Colour: Grey

Measure the gap between the door bottom and floor: Max 8mm for non smoke seal doors (FD30/FD60) - max 3mm for smoke seal doors ((FDS30/FDS60)
Select the LM profiles required to reduce the gap between the door bottom and floor.
Using the s/adhesive tape on the back of each LM profile, encase the profiles within the FrameFit Threshold cover strip (FFTS)
Lay the FFTS cover strip directly on the floor under the bottom door edge (centered on the door frame jambs)
Check you have the desired gap:
Once satisfied, screw/pin fix through the cover strip upstand into the floor using 25/30mm long screws/pins: 1No 50mm from each end + 2No equidistant between these.
